Why I Created My Travel Diary
In the digital age, there are fewer and fewer traditional diaries published each year. I’m old school! I still prefer to carry a paper diary where I can make notes and to-do lists, as well as record my appointments, family birthdays, and, most importantly, travel arrangements!
Back in 2019, unable to find a diary that suited my requirements, I designed and produced my own!
As you know, pre-pandemic, Mark and I travelled the world permanently. This is the diary I took with me. By the end of the year, it was battered and worn, but full of memories. My aim is to have a shelf full of them to look back on in my old age and reminisce about all the wonderful places I’ve been!
2024 Travel Diary
After a couple of years when, for obvious reasons, hardly anyone (including us!) was travelling and there was little need for a travel diary, we are now well and truly back on the road! We spent most of this year (2023) in Africa. My travel diary was with us every step of the way. Now, we are planning our travels for next year. And so I bring you my new travel diary, the 2024 version!!
I love the planning part of travel and I am excited to be filling the pages of our 2024 travel diary with details of flights, accommodation, overlanding trips, meet-ups with friends, and so much more! We can’t wait to get started!!
